The opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Change Leader. Who will lead strategic change across The Openwork Partnership, ensuring customer centric end to end thinking across all business areas, from developing robust solutions through to monitoring success when implementations go live.

Responsible for establishing and embedding business value with end-to-end thinking across your projects, this will be achieved by working with & coaching Product managers, key stakeholders, all impacted people and subject matter experts on a day-to-day basis.  The role holder will have an excellent aptitude towards change, be innovative and flexible with a strong desire to create new and improved processes which are designed around creating an excellent customer experience whilst being highly efficient thus supporting the teams in achieving their targets.  The role holder, a change professional who has experience of shaping and leading new ways of working within an organisation, will be responsible for leading initiatives from identification of a business problem through to root cause analysis and then leading the delivery of change via scrum.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strong stakeholder management at all levels.
  • Facilitating and capturing key requirements via Epics, User Stories and ensuring alignment to measurable business value outcomes
  • Producing key project documents (e.g., PID, Business Case).
  • Conduct root cause analysis / lean reviews/ value stream mapping (etc..) to determine and prioritise opportunities.
  • Lead projects using a mix of strong analysis during the “understand/feasibility stage” through to Agile for solution delivery.
  • Accountable for delivery of business value outcomes.
  • Help define project milestones, critical success factors and drive activity to achieve on time delivery.
  • Accountability for milestone tracking, critical success factors, budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Proactively manage all risks, issues, constraints, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to manage and deliver system developments.
  • Produce Weekly & monthly reporting, attend key programme and change boards.
  • Organise and facilitate key project ceremonies (e.g., project team stand ups).

  • Bonus scheme - on target bonus -10%

What will you need to succeed?

  • Strong experience of leading and implementing change.
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams.
  • Prior experience in Lean, Six Sigma and/or Agile highly desirable.
  • Strong facilitator.
  • Ability to lead a team whilst collaborating with customers to design and deliver solutions which bring business value.
  • Experience in leading digital programmes/projects.
  • Strong track record of making a positive difference for customers and the business.
